Why SIDE exists

A local route into the world's fastest-growing economy

Pakistan's digital economy — freelancing, remote work, e-commerce and AI-enabled services — creates real, high-value income and earns foreign exchange. But access to the skills it demands stays locked behind expensive private training. SIDE opens that door in Korangi, for the people who need it most.

  • In the community. Based in Korangi — professional training happens right where the students are, not across the city.
  • Women & youth first. A minimum 75% of seats reserved for women, with preference for talent from underserved neighbourhoods.
  • Real, market-ready skills. AI, Meta & Google Ads, programming, design, video and 3D — taught to a professional standard on industry tools.

Who we serve

The women & youth of Karachi

Admission is open to candidates of any domicile, with clear preference for talented young people from Karachi's underdeveloped and low-income neighbourhoods — Korangi, Landhi, Lyari, Baldia and Orangi — who have the ambition but no affordable route into digital skills.

  • Free for eligible women & youth — no tuition fees to study.
  • Priority for women and specially-abled youth — deliberately widening the door to those most often left out.
  • Small cohorts of 10–15, ages 16–25, for hands-on mentored learning.
Programs

Ten tracks into the digital economy

From short skill-courses to professional diplomas — students enter at a level matching their aptitude and time. Fees shown are indicative market rates for fee-paying professionals; for eligible women & youth they are waived.

Where each course pays off

Every SIDE track leads to real earning — but they differ in market demand, income potential, how long they take and how advanced they are. This map plots all nine tracks so you can see the return at a glance.
